MyLabInsight is a consumer wellness app that helps users record and view their own health-related data in a simple, organized way. MyLabInsight does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
We respect your privacy. This policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and the choices you have.
2. Information We Collect
A. Information You Enter
MyLabInsight allows you to manually enter wellness-related data such as:
- Blood pressure
- A1C and glucose values
- Cholesterol values
- Kidney and liver markers
- Weight and measurements
- Sleep, steps, and activity (optional)
- Notes you choose to store
All data you enter is stored locally on your device.
B. Device Information
We may collect limited device information for app functionality, such as:
- Device model
- Operating system version
- Anonymous app instance ID (for purchase validation)
C. Purchase Information
If you purchase a subscription using the App Store or Google Play, the store processes your payment. MyLabInsight receives only non-personal purchase status information (e.g., "active subscription").
We do not receive your name, email, or payment details from Apple or Google.
D. Website Purchases (Stripe)
If you purchase a subscription through the MyLabInsight website, payments are processed securely by Stripe. Stripe may collect personal information such as:
- Your email address
- Payment method details
- Billing information
MyLabInsight receives only:
- Your email address
- Your subscription or payment status (active, cancelled, trialing)
We do not receive or store your full payment details, card numbers, or sensitive financial information.
3. Information We Do NOT Collect
MyLabInsight does not collect or store:
- Names
- Phone numbers
- Contact lists
- Photos or media
- Precise location
- Cloud backups of your health data
- Any identifiers used to track you across apps or websites
We also do not share or sell your data.
4. How Your Data Is Used
Data is used only to:
- Display trends and charts within the app
- Perform on-device calculations
- Maintain subscription access (anonymous status only)
- Enable optional syncing with Apple Health or Google Health Connect (if you enable it)
All processing stays on your device unless you manually export a PDF or file.
5. Data Storage
All wellness and health data is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers for user data.
Uninstalling the app deletes all local data unless you exported it beforehand.
6. Data Sharing
MyLabInsight does not:
- Share your data with any third parties
- Sell your data
- Use your data for advertising
- Track you across apps or websites
Stripe, Apple, and Google act as independent payment processors.
7. Children's Privacy
MyLabInsight is intended for adults and is not designed for children under 18.
8. Security
We use standard security measures such as:
- On-device data storage
- Encryption in transit for subscription validation
- No cloud accounts or external databases
9. Your Choices
You may:
- Delete any values entered in the app
- Delete all app data by uninstalling the app
- Export your data before deleting it (optional)
